Requirements
On A Three-Phase Power Line
The land must be on a three-phase power line to be viable. Three-phase power lines can both distribute and receive electrical current. Additionally, the land must have all-season road access.
Clear & Flat
Areas with heavy growth or thick tree cover are not ideal soal farm locations. Ideally, solar farms are in a field behind farmland or on farmland that is being underutilized. We typically develop sites that are two acres or larger.
Owned By the Applicant
Land must be owned outright by the applicant and be free and clear of any liens or mortgages. If you are a third party inquiring about land leasing on behalf of someone else, please call our office for more information.
